Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to mapstowing.com and your requests for towing and roadside assistance services from Maps Towing.
1. Acceptance & Scope
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Maps Towing (“Maps Towing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of mapstowing.com (the “Site”) and your requests for towing and roadside assistance services.
By using the Site or requesting services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or request services through it.
2. Services, Requests & Emergencies
Maps Towing provides towing and roadside assistance services in our service area. Available services may depend on your location, vehicle, road and weather conditions, equipment, personnel, and other circumstances.
Submitting a form, calling, texting, or otherwise contacting us is a request for service and does not guarantee acceptance, availability, a particular arrival time, or successful completion. We may accept, decline, or cancel a request when reasonably necessary, including for safety, access, equipment, legal, or availability reasons.
Arrival estimates are not guarantees. Actual arrival time may vary because of traffic, weather, distance, demand, road closures, vehicle requirements, and other circumstances beyond our control. Call dispatch for your current ETA.
Maps Towing is not a police, fire, medical, or 911 service. If anyone is injured, a vehicle is in a dangerous traffic position, or there is another immediate threat to life or safety, call 911 before contacting us and follow the instructions of emergency personnel.
3. Estimates, Pricing & Payment
Prices shown on the Site or discussed before the vehicle and service conditions are assessed are estimates and are not guaranteed. The actual charge may depend on mileage, vehicle type and condition, equipment required, access, labor, storage, tolls, after-hours service, and other details discovered while performing the service.
We will explain material changes when reasonably possible and obtain authorization before performing additional chargeable work. You agree to pay the charges you authorize, along with applicable taxes and disclosed fees. Payment methods and timing will be communicated when service is arranged or completed.
4. Communications
When you provide a phone number or email address in connection with a service request, you authorize us and service providers assisting with that request to contact you about dispatch, arrival, location, payment, support, and other service-related matters. Calls or messages may be sent using automated technology where permitted by law. Message and data rates may apply.
You may ask us to stop nonessential text messages by replying STOP. Opting out may limit our ability to provide text updates, but it will not prevent communications that are necessary to complete an active request or otherwise permitted by law. Consent to marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing services.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact, vehicle, location, destination, access, and service information.
- Have the legal right or proper authorization to request service for the vehicle.
- Tell us about known vehicle damage, modifications, hazards, special handling requirements, or access restrictions.
- Remove valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable personal belongings when it is safe and practical to do so.
- Remain in a safe location and follow lawful safety instructions from dispatchers, operators, police, fire, and road authorities.
6. Site Use & Intellectual Property
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the Site's operation or security; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malicious code; scrape or copy content through automated means without permission; impersonate another person; submit false or fraudulent requests; or use the Site in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
The Site and its text, graphics, logos, photographs, design, software, and other content are owned by Maps Towing or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Site for personal, noncommercial purposes. No other rights are granted.
7. Third-Party Services & Links
The Site may link to or interact with third-party websites, maps, payment services, communications tools, or other services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that party's terms and privacy policy.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or current. Website content is general information and does not replace an operator's assessment of a vehicle, location, or safety condition.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maps Towing and its owners, employees, agents, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or a service request.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties, duties, liability, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability resulting from fraud, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which limitation is prohibited.
9. Governing Law & General Terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any rights you may have under applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and changing the effective date. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless a later date is stated.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific written agreement or authorization, constitute the agreement concerning your use of the Site. A service-specific agreement controls if it expressly conflicts with these Terms.
