Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our towing and roadside assistance services, response times, service areas, pricing, and more.

Maps Towing provides customer-requested towing and roadside assistance. We do not operate an LAPD/OPG impound lot, release police-impounded vehicles, or locate cars towed by another company. For a City of Los Angeles tow, use the official OPG vehicle lookup and the responsible agency’s instructions.

Maps Towing is an independent local towing and roadside assistance company, not AAA, an insurance-company dispatch line, or a motor-club customer service center. Contact your provider directly for membership or policy questions.

Our dispatch line is open 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Call (818) 797-1560 for current service availability and an ETA.

Arrival depends on your location, traffic, truck availability, service type, and access conditions. Call dispatch for your current ETA; there is no fixed arrival-time promise.

Customer-requested towing, accident towing, flatbed transport, jump starts, usable-spare tire changes, vehicle lockout assistance, and emergency fuel delivery. See our service pages and call to confirm the right help for your vehicle.

Our dispatch offices are in Van Nuys and Burbank. Review the service-area pages, then call with your exact pickup location to confirm availability.

Flatbed transport is available for these vehicle types. Tell dispatch the exact model, drivetrain, ground clearance, and condition so the loading and transport procedure can be confirmed.

We install your usable spare when the vehicle and location are suitable. If there is no usable spare, ask about towing to a tire shop. For patching, replacement tires, balancing, or retail purchases, contact a tire shop.

Confirm the pickup, destination, vehicle condition, service, and quote before dispatch. The work or charge may change if access, mileage, vehicle condition, or equipment needs differ; discuss changes before proceeding.

Motorcycle towing is offered. Call with the model, condition, and pickup access so dispatch can confirm the appropriate equipment and loading plan.

Call with the vehicle’s dimensions, weight, loaded condition, and location. Confirm current service and equipment availability before arranging a move; do not assume a standard truck can handle it.

Call with the exact location and vehicle details. Dispatch can confirm whether service is available; a location on a map is not an arrival-time or coverage guarantee.

Ask dispatch to confirm the quote, accepted payment method, and any account arrangements before service. Contact your insurer directly about policy coverage or reimbursement.
